The project is not over.... Yet cos we have the report to make and we need to have it done so we can put it togeather at Wednesday 26/1/11

Realy. I dont know what i want to do about the Vlan.
I have tryed to look a the 3. semester reports about the Vlan and tryed some of the commands that cood have workt.
What i think i want is i want to seperate 2 lan's so we can have a lan where all the PC's and printers are and 1 where externals machines are and the can cumunicate.

Layer 1

On layer 2 i need to get the server and the Windows PC on 1 Lan and  the external PC on Lan 2 that got another IP than the Lan 1 but they can still talk togeather.

Not know if the is Info is OK but i cant figure out more els i need to read a bit more about this subjekt 

Overview for 18/1-11

Active Directory Users are able to login on a windows PC on ITET1 domain - Task Done


It is a bigger task to make Vlan's running but in the weekend and today i have read about some about it. 

So today's task was to see if i was able to make new Vlan's up and trying to see if it works. 
This is som of the commands i used to make 3 Vlan's.

 After typing in the commands it look like this:

List of IP's the router is sending out from eatch port: 
Port 4 : 192.168.1.149 - Con to Windows Server 
Port 3 : 192.168.1.139 - Con to Windows Client
Port 2 : 192.168.1.140 - Con to Laptop
Port 1 : 192.168.1.140 - Con to Laptop



Now i'm able to ping from the Server, a windows client and a labtop

I think i need to Talk to Morten ( Teatcher ) about if this is right

Today we are going to demonstrate:

MySql and PHP.
We got Active Directory up and running. We have 4 users but we cant connect to the Domain.

FTP is up and running and Alex are working on MySql
AD is running and User's is missing
Vlan is makeing truble and are curently getting help from Morten ( Teacher ) - There will be a bigger blog intrace about how to make vlan

I successfully installed Active Directory Domain Service without any problem. I am going to add some users.

I'll let you know later what will happen :)

Overview 7/01

Yesterday we almost managed to fix the ftp server, but the http server is working properly.

Now we are trying to fix the ftp part.

We are also having a website interface.

Installation on Windows Server

I will start the Newyear's first blog intrace by telling a little bit about what to install on Windows Server 2008.

Alex did install "The Printservice" before christmas.

Right now we have: Webserver (IIS) , Printserver , Windows Server Update server (Wsus) , Windows Powershell and Telnet server / client

Planing to Install Php and Mysql before going home today

I HATE Restrictions on DAMN WINDOWS !!!!!!  Greeee it makes me angry
